Starting at 6 p.m. on August 25th, Go4GarrettsSpace will be an evening filled with musical performances, inspirational speakers, fitness classes, and an online auction with donations from more than 100 local businesses and friends! Light refreshments, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. Come as you are!

6:00 p.m.: Performance by U-M Life Sciences Chamber Orchestra: Alejandro Uribe, Cello, Sonya Lewis, Violin, Ellen Guise, Flute, Joe Lange, Viola
6:10 p.m.: Opening remarks by the Halpert Family, introductory song by co-host Chelsea Groen, co-host and musical theater performer who just completed touring with Wicked accompanied by Mario Sulaksana, co-host and musician
6:25 p.m.: Poetry reading by Poppy Magee, youth poet
6:30 p.m.: Musical performance by Pioneer High School a capella ensemble Sha Bop Shoppe with Anamika Suresh, Eliana Adler, Lily Wright, Abigail Rohrer, Gabby Thompson, and Lily Whitcomb
6:40 p.m.: Remarks by Caitlin Kinnuen*, Tony-nominated actress, and Jo Ellen Pellman*, actor, writer, producer and star of the Netflix musical, The Prom
6:45 p.m.: Jazz Combo performance by Andrew Bishop, musician and, U-M School of Music, Theatre and Dance, Chair of Jazz and Contemporary Improvisation, and Evan Zevada, musician
6:55 p.m.: Performances by Garrett’s sisters, Aly Halpert, musician, and Madeline Halpert, journalist, and Sonya Major, musician.
7:15 p.m.: Remarks by Andy Lassner*, formerly Executive Producer, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and currently Executive Producer of The Jennifer Hudson Show, and Lisa Damour, PhD*, psychologist and best-selling author and Jeffrey Jensen Arnett, Psychology Professor at Clark University and author of Emerging Adulthood

Fitness & Wellness Sessions (Running Concurrently with the Fundraiser)
This year, we are thrilled to offer live fitness and wellness sessions included in the price of your ticket. They'll be running concurrently with the events in the conference space. Yoga mats will be provided in the yoga studio. Feel free to take one of our classes before or after enjoying the entertainment and wonderful speakers! Please register for the classes when you check in.
